How good is your memory?

Here are the directions: 1. Add a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I have had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember. This can be about me, or any related memory of my family.... 2. Next, repost these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It is actually pretty funny to see the responses.

I remember going to Logan to visit you guys with Rog and Mom and seeing your kids. They had grown soo much but I also remember thinking how much you and Jon had grown and I was so impressed with how you treated each other the spirit in your home! I loved seeing how far you have come and your continual growth as a couple. I also remember playing baseball with one of your brothers. I think it was Joel. It was just for a little while it was a lot of fun. I don't know why I remmeber that but there you go for random!

I remember the first time I ever came over to your house. Me and Brian were dating and I was scared that you guys wouldnt like me. But I remember that you sat there and talked to me all night, and I felt so welcome! After that night Brian told me that he was so glad that I got along so well with his family because that was important to him, I was so glad that you liked me and talked to me!

I remember when I started see you and Jon together, maybe it was at a church dance, or at "S-day" or something. Or it could have been one time when I went to the movies and you let me sneak in with my foot-long from Subway.
You were always nice and smiley to me!

I have several great memories of you! The first time I met Jonathan was a good memory. We were visiting Grandma and Grandpa Dean. I was told you had a new boyfriend and that we should stop by the movie theater and meet him. We did, and you guys ended up taking us to a park for a picnic. You two were flirting every second and I thought it was so gross....laugh! I think I was only 15 or something like that. I didn't like boys then.

Do you remember the time Stockton didn't make it to school one morning? I was in a panic attack and didn't know what to do. I gave you a call to see if you would check the house to see if he was home. When you got there, he wasn't there. Then you drove all around the area looking for him. I was in the middle of calling the police when we found him at school. As a parent, that has been one of my most scary moments. I don't know what I would do if I lost Stockton, or any of my kids.... but I do know that you would be there for me. And I LOVE that about you!!

You are one of my best friends!!! I am very blessed to have you in my life!

Well, one of my very first memories of you was the one that Amy put down. Sitting at the park talking with you and Johnathan.
I also remember your wedding day.
My most favorite memories were of grandma and grandpa's house visiting with everyone. Those memories are very clear in my mind as if they happened yesterday.

I remember going to your wedding reception because it was such a terrible, foggy trip. We got down into the Monticello area and had fog for quite a few miles. We thought it senseless to turn back beings we were 80% of the way there. Your little family has progressed so well from that wedding day

I remember you and Jonathon getting married. We drove down in our van and celebrated your special day with the two of you and all of the family of course. And then I remember going to Lagoon last summer with you and how fun that was. Afterwards, we all went out for sushi.

I remember going over to your house and my dad telling your dad what a pretty girl you were growing up to be. You painted our (mine and my sisters) fingernails! We felt so grown up:)

I remember giving you a hug when you were very pregnant with Aubrey. We were standing by grandmas honeysuckle bushes.

I remember coming over to your house in Springville to talk. You are such a good listener! I also remember that you and Jonathan used to drive down from Logan and you would come to our house and everyone would just sit and talk for hours. I miss that.

Oh where do i start?
I remember looking forward to spending my summers living with you in the springville apartment, even though i really didnt do anything it was nice to just hang around.
My most fond memories are of having sunday dinner at the duplex. We would play silly games like double dutch, jump the rug, and throw every one with the blanket. No matter what we always just happen to have the greatest time, without any effort. That is rare, ya know.
I love you so much.

I remember coming to your apartment down in Springville, the first time I met you guys (I think). It was for a combined party for Lindsey and Aubrey (again, I think) and i was so nervous to meet you guys, but everyone was so friendly. I also remember the little white house your parents lived in for a short while in Price and going down in the icky basement and playing cards with Joel and Jonathan. I can't remember if you ever came down and played with us, but I do remember that we would play down there. I think it was too late and we were too loud to play upstairs. You guys were always so much fun!

I remember years ago playing games on New Years Eve at my friend, your cousin's, Katie's house. We were all laughing so hard at the game where you have to try to get your partner to guess the person.

Also it was tons of fun when I tagged along to Temple Square with all you gals.

I always love seeing you Dean cousins around at various family get togethers.

I remember one time when Terry and I were living in Cortez you were playing basketball at the Cortez Jr. high and I came with your parents to your game. I always get excited at basketball games (I AM A Dean after all) and you made a great steal and took it in for an easy layup. I shouted, "Way to go, Melly! And your mom informed me that you didn't want to be called that anymore. Oops! My very loud bad! I realized then that you were growing up. What a beautiful woman you have become.

I just had to comment on the fact that the memory that you left on my blog was the first that came to my mind when I was doing this for you, but I decided I would choose another one. I am glad to know that you remembered that experience and it made an impression on you like it did on me. You have always been such an empathetic person. I think you are really able to feel with the other person. You hurt when they hurt, you're happy when they are happy and you are able to really help people to deal with the things they are going through. Thank you!
